  • Interesting hole in the ground here. Anyone know what was built here? It presumably was bombed 20 years later?

  • Clunn (Face of London) says it was the old General Post Office, erected on the site of St Martins le Grand church, demolished in 1912 rebuilding was delayed by WWI
