I think this is Yardley Green Road, not Hobmoor Road |

I would agree with Ron41 - the curve of the road as it goes east, matches that of Yardley Green Road. Looking at the current Google Earth map, the area of allotments is reduced, but the border follows the line in this picture. |

The pattern of the original allotments is still visible, though heavily overgrown. |
