I, personally, don't think this is the location of Windmill Spinney. I think it is within the meanderings of the canal around wormleighton, not on the outside. The discussion starts. Perhaps attempts to "number" the canal bridges could be attempted

Following the comment by Rog G I've had a good look at the area and located and marked Church Farm. I've checked the visible length of the Oxford Canal and it fits with the location given. I've also checked the field boundaries against the six inch maps available from the National Library of Scotland.
