This triangular plot is marked as allotments on the 1905 OS 1:2500 map. The Oxford canal is just out of view to the bottom left of this image.

The G-AJOV depicted is a Sikorsky S-51, imported from the US production line.

The designation "Westland Dragonfly HR3" refers to the licence-built, ex-Royal Navy aircraft which is preserved in the Cosford aircraft museum, painted as "G-AJOV".

July? Distinct lack of leaves on a high proportion of trees.

This is in the northernmost part of Oxfordshire, just a few hundred metres from the county boundary intersection with Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
