Site of the collision of the British Commander, a ship who broke her moorings and slid into the pier in 1941.This was the last collision from shipping prior to its demolition in 1942. The Egremont ferry was now permantley closed. For more info call 0151 639 4441 |

This is the site of the Wallasey Brick and Land Company, who produced bricks for local development as well as further a field. It is also the area where the baracades to the footpath used by the public prior to the construction of the prom in which the company disputed this right of way on their land.
