This was the terminus of a branch line from Brent, on the GWR main line to the west of England. Branch and this station closed in 1963.

This photo illustrates well why such branch line termini have been much modelled. A relatively compact layout yet with a multitude of buildings - station building, goods shed, signal box, water tower, cattle dock etc. A broad variety of rolling stock with mixed stock trains and single coaches just sitting in the sidings. A small but busy looking station with a natural scene edge in the trees behind.
