Does anyone know what became of the Murphy family who lived at Hengrove house at the turn of the century. They were cattle farmers from Ireland.I do believe they had connections to Whitchurch.Mr patrick Murphy and Mary Murphy.A son called Bernard,a daughter called Angnes, amongst many children, they had servants and farm labourers working for them,.They are my great great grandparents.I know they stayed in the Bristol Area.Trying to trace where they settled, which parish they are buried.

Whitchurch was used in World War II when London's civil airports were closed. I can recall a de Havilland Rapide operating here, but it may have been a year or so after 1957, the year when Lulsgate became Bristol's new airport
