This was not the ride that became Vikingar, that was a side-friction coaster type chutes ride. This was an earlier Coney Island style chutes ride that had a gondolier on the boat to steer it when it hit the lake at the bottom - they rode the entire way standing up on the back of the boat! |

This is the water slide. In more recent times it was known as Vikingar to fit in with the Valhalla themed ride of which it sat next to. The ride has been dismantled and currently in storage at dreamland in Margate where it is awaiting rebuild. |
