My parents retired to this house, 1 The Mount, 5 Langland Bay Road in 1986. Sold in 2009 I think. This photo is largely of Rotherslade Bay, alias Little Langland, not Langland Bay itself, the main hotel shown being the Osborne, not the LBH. The prominent structure, now demolished and replaced with wide steps to the beach, housed an entertainment complex and café beneath a roof promenade that was part of the cliff path from Langland to the Mumbles.

Langland Bay as evidenced by the characteristic and unique bend in the road. Rotherslade Road is beyond the bend and runs down to the bay.
