Rear of 454 Garscube Road. The swingpark caretaker was called 'Swingman Duffy'. I used to take his Billy can to my Mother who would send me back with it full of steaming hot water, for his tea. That was the late nineteen fifties.

Queens Cross There used to be a victorian gushet here, with a metal cup on a chain. Also a police box. If we were feeling very daring, we would open the public call box, and ask for the time !! Brave huh !!
