The Arbuckle Smith Warehouse just north of the football ground was badly damaged by fire in the late 60's. It was at that time storage for Kelloggs Corn Flakes, Rice Crispies,Frosties,Etc., and in the course of extinguishing the fire the side doors to the premises were opened, giving access to hoards of kids from Ferguslie Park who were like ants going up and down Clark Street (road to right hand side) with huge cases of packs of Kelloggs product twice the size of them, a hilarious sight :)



The Tenements centre top of the picture (Craigielea) is the ground now housing St. Mirin FC having sold Love St to Tesco
