my grandmother and grandfather .mr and mrs chubb lived at 15 cherry orchard and me from 1945.my grandfather worked as booking clerk in 1938 at the railway station.

272 Hoo road was My Grandparents house at that time(and up into the early 60"s)A bomb was dropped at the side of The Copse (pinned) and over the road in Vicarage Crescent(pinned)on Sunday 3rd November 1940 thankfully no casualties.I have just my Aunt and her friend who lived next door still here to recall the event.

a WW2 bomb was dropped to the side of this large house on the 3rd November1940 (A Sunday afternoon )the house was unoccupied. also one over the road (Vicarage crescent) which landed in the grounds of the vicarage luckily nobody hurt

I do not understand why the title for this one includes the Cotswold Railway line which runs from Oxford to Hereford passing through Worcester at the closest point to Kidderminster.
