 The Ilford clock tower used to be here, By 1923 the position of the Tower at Ilford Broadway was becoming an obstacle to increasing road traffic and it was relocated to South Park. Just over 20 years later it was destroyed there by a V2. |

| Originaly a snooker hall, The Luciana, or something similar. In the late 60's it became a night venue, with a sucession of names, El Grotto, Boobs and the Growling Budgie to name a few. |
