The seafront public conveniences, long since demolished, the gents featured a circular central island of typically massive urinals topped with a glass cistern in the form of a lighthouse complete with pointed roof.

Not the same one. That was demolished by British Railways in 1966. The replacement signal box which is on a nearby site was moved from Dunster - the next station to the east - in 1977 by the West Somerset Railway, who now operate the line. It was transported in one piece by placing it on a railway wagon
