Originally `Butts` Farm. Laterly sold to Whiteley`s market gardens 1891-1907. After the murder of William Whiteley (1907) the site was sold to T W Beach (Jams). In 1933 the land was sold to New Ideal Homesteads and is now known locally as the "Butts Farm" estate.
