| Kilburn and Brondesbury Metropolitan Railway station opened on 24 November 1879, and the line was quadrupled here in 1913. The station was renamed to "Kilburn" in 1950, by which time it was on the Bakerloo line of London Transport. |

At this time (1928), Kilburn station was on the Metropolitan Line. The Bakerloo Line didn't open until 1939. The station had two separate platforms, instead of the present island platform, they are clearly visible on the pictures. |
