The Dunstable cement plant began operation in 1926 and was acquired by the Red Triangle Group shortly after this picture was taken, in late 1927. After the collapse of Red Triangle in 1931, it was acquired by APCM. A third kiln was installed in 1937 and a fourth in 1966. It shut down in 1971.
