1950 The best hardware Shop I ever saw all out side above shop, tin goods /iron ware Etc, The yard behind had a big gate and the shop lorry did delivery.

COOP Shops,street level, Posh Restaurant up stair, I think a Butchers,assorted Grocers, with chairs for older folk, in the block round end of Church street was a furniture shop down below street. Entrance door down steps level, Viewed from pavement and small window only removed around 2006, also a bakery and mortuary close by at back All COOP Good for the' divi' Dividend
