 A rake of pre-nationalisation coaching stock apparently repurposed as a semi-permanent feature with stepped access to them. Many such items were acquired during WW2 as offices etc for local Home Guard units and the like, perhaps used at the time of the photo as changing rooms, rest rooms or stores for the adjacent businesses. The condition of these carriages suggest that they are not much longer for this world.
There appear to be a number of allotment plots nearby. Very possibly a legacy of the WW2 'Dig for Victory' campaign, when areas of waste land were turned over for the production of fruit and vegetables for domestic consumption. |

| This looks like a old clerestory roofed electrical multiple unit car that had been repurposed as a mess hut or similar, but now appears to be at the end of its life. It doesn't look like anything from the London Underground, but it may be withdrawn stock from something like the old Mersey Railway. |

| A selection of Scammell Scarab three-wheeled tractors. These little workhorses were ubiquitous throughout the British Railways empire. These haven't come very far, as they were built at the nearby Scammell factory in West Watford. |
