St. Pauls C of E School (Seager Place). On a hot summer day in 1949 during afternoon break, a boy threw his paper plane toward the blue sky. It never came back. Catching the thermals from the asphalt playground, it steadily climbed on a gentle breeze and headed south over the railway arches, as though it knew exactly where it wanted to go. A few minutes of rare wonder for all the open mouthed children that watched. Ray.

This is a picture of 37 ST ANNS RD later changed to MIDLOTHIAN RD where the WATTS family have lived since the 1870's. This was taken in aprox the 1950's or 60's by my father before it was all demolished. The building on the right was demolished because of bomb damage.
