WWII air raid shelter entrance (blocked-up). The underground shelter ran beneath the gardens of the first couple of houses of Beverley Road.

Whyteleafe County Grammar School for Girls - the grammar school closed in the late 1970s and the buildings now house Whyteleafe School, a county primary school.

Whyteleafe Railway Station. On "the Caterham line", (whereas nearby Upper Warlingham station is on "the Oxted line") From this station, the next station on the left of the image is Whyteleafe South, whilst to the right is Kenley Station. Opened in 1900 by the South Eastern & Chatham Railway on the branch line from Purley to Caterham.
