This was the Tivoli Theatre after many closures finally remained closed and was demolished in 1976 and did not become the Floral Pavilion which is just of to the right of this picture.

No it didn't. This was the Tivoli. The Floral was and still is much further along the prom near the Palace. This site is now occupied by flats.

Having lost Sandheys Park to bomb damage and emergency housing New Brighton FC resumed life in Division Three (North) at the Tower Grounds a few weeks after this photo was taken. Stands have still to be erected though it looks like the pitch is being turfed, seeming lost in the vast space inside the track.
