Bedford Circus, demolished and cleared of rubble. Many of the property owners were totally against the final demolition of Bedford Circus which though parts of it were destroyed or burnt out was considered saveable. But like most of Dix's Field was knocked down and bulldozed rather than saved for posterity. '
