The Junction Hotel. At the corner of Queens Road the Junction is a Victorian hotel. During the early 20th century it was owned by the local Whitaker's brewery which was eventually taken over by the national Whitbread's chain.
Currently (2013) it is is continuing to trade as a pub. '
