This plot of land between the Warburtons and Harrisons houses was used by my Dad, Terry Morris as an allotment for growing vegetables during late 60's/early 1970s. Happy memories of digging up new potatoes, sitting amongst the rows of peas eating them, and playing with the bonfire in the autumn time burning off the garden rubbish. This area is now on the edge of the runway, but the junction with Woodhouse Lane is still there, in between 2 huge car parks. '
