There is a suggestion here of the railway line running at the edge of the road. Was this here the railway came onto the estate area? It is hard to follow the lines as they do not make the usual visual impact of railway lines in the landscape, being just a track laid on the ground .... no ballast, fences, signals, buildings or structures. '
