All residents living in the bottom half of Beechwood Road (towards Hornby B'vard) on both sides, had to find new homes due to these houses being beyond repair, my family lived in number 57 until may 1971, houses demolished early 1970's & replaced with a parking area & playing area (with a long slide) '
