' This was to be the site of the motive power depot for the uncompleted Northern Line extension from Edgware to Bushey Heath. The site was utilised during WW2 for military aircraft production under the management of London Transport. After the war, the site was put to use for the overhaul of the London Transport bus fleet. In 1956, the state-of-the-art Aldenham Bus Overhaul Works was opened on the site. Operations continued here until the works wase closed at the end of 1986. The site has since been sold and redeveloped. '
