The Roxborough Hotel which on 24 July 1908 witnessed the American winner, Johnny Hayes, of the 1908 Olympics' marathon race from Windsor Castle to White City Stadium crossing Roxborough Bridge in Harrow. 44 years later I used to watch the trains from this point - on my own! '
