Aintree Central railway station. This station was owned by the Cheshire Lines Committee Railway company until 1948 when the railway became part of BR London Midland Region. The station closed to scheduled passenger services in 1960, only handling Grand National special excursions until 1966 - No trace of this station is extant, the site is now under an industrial estate on Deltic Way. '
