Sunnybank - from 1896 to 1957 this was the Liverpool & Bootle Police Orphanage. It was then sold and in 1959 opened as a hospice, the Sunnybank Marie Curie Home. A new building was built in the grounds and opened in 1992 as the Marie Curie Centre, Liverpool. The old building was then demolished. There's a good full history of the building here:
