' This is the site of a shop known as the 'wee farm' on Cuthelton St when I was a boy living at number 68 in 1946. It was almost directly opposite the Fire Station ( officially opened 8th December 1952 and built on a site known as the 'watt'r tank') The shop was still there a year or two ago (it is 2015 now). Turnstiles into the Parkhead Juniors FC ground were right beside the shop, although the pavilion/dressing rooms were on Methven St. '
