This building was where I had my first job. At the time it was owned by GDS (General Decorating Supplies) a company that supplied all the local decorating shops in the surrounding area. This particular building where I worked was the wallpaper section, where we would prepare orders for the shops to go out the next day. Across the car park was the main offices and paint department - today it is Henley library. About once a month we would take delivery of a huge HGV full of boxes of different wallpapers which we had to unload and then sort. '
