The Stray - large area of grassland surrounded by trees which border the Leeds Road and Wetherby Road as they approach Harrogate town centre.

Crimple Viaduct. Still in use, accessed via sharply-curved line from Pannal Junction to Crimple Junction, requiring very low speed and causing lots of squealing from the train wheels!

Crimple low-level line from Pannal Junction to Starbeck, Ripon and Northallerton, avoiding Harrogate. Pannal Junction to Starbeck closed in 1951, and Starbeck to Ripon and Northallerton closed in 1967.
