| Probably the "Duchess of Hamilton" because she has shallower black tops to the funnels than the other steamer.

| Fairly sure this is the Duchess of Montrose, built 1930 by Dennys at Dumbarton. |

In World War II the Queen Mary had been converted into a troop carrier. The vessel was also used by Winston Churchill and a large entourage to reach the USA in May 1943 [Greenock - New York] and again in August that year [Clyde to Halifax].
