| The old Smithfield Market where local farmers would go on Wednesdays to buy and sell livestock. Located behind the Shrewsbury Arms (still there), the area is now part of Morrisons car park. |

| The Bell Inn. My grandparents ran this pub from 1954 until 1971. I have many happy memories of this pub and Rugeley. Although the building remains today, it is now a restaurant come takeaway. |
