| The Ha'penny bridge (a.k.a. the Halfpenny Steps footbridge and the Wedlake Street Footbridge), joining Wedlake Street to Harrow Road. The original Wedlake Street Toll Bridge was replaced in 1905 by another footbridge, a two-lane girder and plate affair, which itself was replaced with the current reinforced concrete bridge in 1980s(? I'm not sure of the date). |
