During the 1950s this area was taken over by the coach station, creating more loading bays, and the long building with the dormer windows became a waiting room at ground level and a driver's canteen upstairs Another coach exit was created on to Semley Place and the Distict line Vent was moved.. Also' Skyways Coach Air' had offices at the Elizabeth Street end of the building. In the last 30 years a great number of changes have occurred in this section of the coach and is now unrecognisable.
