Possibly the home farm of the manor house?

House with a very steep pitched roof and a turret.

My mistake, not a turret - two large chimneys with a window below.

Signs of water erosion close to this hedge. Is it at bottom of a hill ? Also signs of frequent traffic in this field.

A moated manor house, location unknown. The previous photo in the sequence, EPW039760, is of Bracon Lodge, Bracon Ash, South Norfolk. The countryside looks similar in the two photos. There is no EPW039762. So possibly this is a moated manor house somewhere in Norfolk or Suffolk.

There are so many moated halls and manor houses in Norfolk south of Norwich. I can't see a way to make this search any easier than looking for a needle in a haystack. My next step is to get hold of a copy of Ordnance Survey Sheet 144 in the hope that it might be the right area!

Google maps, in 'map' mode, shows small water features particularly well.

In 2013, the area in this image is mostly wooded.

It is just to the south of Norfolk Gliding Club airfield.

This house is a moated manor house - the course of the water is traceable all the way round the house, with a break where the track goes across leading to the house, and another in the bottom right corner. It looks like the moat has later been landscaped in the area to the right to make a larger pond, which looks like a medieval fish pond.
