Still searching for this elusive location; but in the meantime G-EBJT is registered as a Westland Woodpigeon Mk 1, I believe Westland also built a biplane version in order to compare performance. Was it this aircraft that they extended the span of to improve take-off? It later became the Westland Widgeon Mk 2. Can anyone come up with the correct information on all this?

They may be all cracked up but our Conservator has done a great job of these and I'm so pleased now to have locations for this group of images.

One of a series of 10 photos, EPW031086A, EPW031087A, EPW031088-EPW031091 and EPW031093-EPW031096.

Manor House 2 appears to be the focus as it is featured in three closeups (EPW031086A, EPW031087A, EPW031088) so this may have been where the air meet was based.

One can clearly see the registration numbers of 2 of the aircraft in this picture. If someone contacted the Civil Aviation Authority, could they help trace these aircraft and hence the airfield at which they were based? Of course, there is always the possibility the aircraft were visiting from another field.
