Piccadilly Line between South Harrow and Rayners Lane?

The link from Rayners Lane to South Harrow was actually constructed by the Metropolitan Railway in 1904 in order to connect the District Railway with the Met's Uxbridge Branch. However, the District did not operate a service to Uxbridge until 1910 owing to one of the many operational disagreements that it had with the Met.

The Piccadilly Line took over the operation of the route in 1933.

Petts Hill should be going 11oclock, not 1. This worries me as it looks like Northolt Park but these houses look newly built yet they are not on Google Earth. Everything seems to be right and yet I have doubts.

Can anyone tell me anything about the masts and associated buildings in the bottom of the photo?

Ordnance Survey have this labelled "Wood End Wireless Station".

The location is the Wood End wireless station recreation ground, which is now bordered on all sides by housing (Bayshill Rise, Lancaster Road, Blenheim road). The location is now home to a National Air Traffic Control base.

I thought that I would look it up in a copy of the BBC Handbook 1928 which I have in my collection. I'm afraid I drew a blank but I found that the handbook was the first one produced covering the first year of the Corporation's existence. There is an interesting blog on http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/aboutthebbc/posts/Looking-Back-The-1928-Handbook
