Granny Trotters, scullery smelt of gas, outside loo, tin bath on back of door (when it wasn't full of coal!)2 bedrooms, the boys nose to tail in one and girls and gran in other, they worked amongst carbon black at Gramaphone Company Hayes, smoked them selves to death collecting coupons. Later I remember uncle George standing at his front bedroom window trying to catch his breath, he had chronic bronchitus
