These are not Nieuports. They are a flight of Sopwith Snipes; a fighter plane which saw brief active service at the end of the war and which continued in use by the RAF until 1926

These are Sopwith Snipes probably of the CFS who gave an aerobatic display at the 1924 RAF Pageant (per Flight) Does anyone have access to a high quality scan and if so are the serials visible as this would help confirm the unit.

These are Sopwith Snipes probably the five from the CFS who gave a display that day. Are the serial numbers readable on the original? - as this would help confirm which unit they came from.
