Pumphouse at far end of GWR reservoir. It pumped water up the embarkment & piped it back to GWR factory. Foundations & some pipework still extant.

Rebuilt houses on corner of Ferndale Rd & Northern Rd after bombing on August 17th 1942. Gap in terraced houses opposite shows where bombed dwellings were demolished - since rebuilt.
