Originally the site of the Bedford Hotel - opened in 1811 and demolished in 1858. The site ,126 The Parade, was then occupied by the Leamington Priors and Warwickshire Bank which was absorbed by the Midland Bank circa 1923. HSBC, the current occupant took over the Midland Bank Group in 1992 but it was 1999 before the branch names were changed. '
