Trackbed of the Stratford-upon-Avon to Moreton-in-Marsh Tramway opened in September 1826 using horses, not steam locomotives, to haul the trains. The tramway's business at the northern end had succumbed to competition by 1904 but the tracks remained in place until 1918 and formal abandonment in 1926. '
