This location and a house in Second Avenue were used as the location for the Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense film - And The Wall Came Tumbling Down (1984) Staring Gareth Hunt.
The scenes of all the ruined terraced streets were shot in First, Second and Third Avenue, which were being demolished as part of the areas rejuvenation. '
